The Poultry Association of Georgia was founded

On July 15, 2016, in the conference hall of the Association of Georgian Employers, the foundation was laid for the establishment of the Poultry Association of Georgia. The purpose of establishing the Poultry Association is to develop the industry. Namely: • Identification of existing problems in the poultry business sector and joint work on ways to solve them; • Communication with the government; • Increase of new personnel/qualification; • Interest of young people. The meeting was attended by businessmen working in the field of poultry farming from all over Georgia. The structure and charter of the association were discussed at the meeting. They also discussed ways and means of improving the functioning of the association. Future activities were planned at the meeting. It should be noted that in the near future the association will be officially founded and will receive a legal status. The founders and members of the association believe that by joining forces they will be able to effectively solve the problems in the field. The business association GEA supports the establishment and operation of similar sectoral associations.
