Business sector meeting with Semek members

On December 13, 2016, the Georgian National Regulatory Commission for Energy and Water Supply (SEMEC) met with the business sector under the organization of the business union "Georgian Employers' Association" (GEA). The meeting was attended by representatives of government agencies and the electric energy sector. The meeting will be opened by Daniel Gakharia, vice-president of the "Georgian Employers' Association". And Zviad Gachechiladze, Deputy Director of the Department of Electric Energy, presented a presentation on the topic: "Regulation of net metering in Georgia". The meeting was also attended by: commission member Gocha Shonia, director of the electric power department, Nugzar Beridze; Tamar Barsonidze, Chief Specialist of Methodological Assurance and Service Quality Control Department; Director of Public Relations Department, Nino Lashkhia; Depending on the format of the meeting, the companies had the opportunity to ask questions regarding topics of interest to them in a direct dialogue mode. At the end of the meeting, the Association of Employers of Georgia presented the Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission of Georgia with a certificate of gratitude for active cooperation with the business sector.
