The winner of the professional education hackathon was awarded by the employers' association

On April 23, 2017, a professional education hackathon was held in the Technological Park of Georgia, the main sponsor of which was the "Georgian Employers' Association". Vocational education hackathon was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and teams of students from vocational schools participated in it, and presented the prototypes of their high-tech ideas. The President of the Association of Georgian Employers, Elguja Meladze, was represented in the jury, which identified the winner. As Mr. Elguja mentioned, the main criteria for team evaluations by him as a business representative were innovativeness and high commercial interest in perspective. The Association of Employers of Georgia is actively involved in the projects initiated for the promotion and strengthening of professional education in order to eliminate the problem in the labor market related to the shortage of in-demand personnel as much as possible.
