The member companies of the Federation of Georgian Manufacturers and the Association of Georgian Employers met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Georgia Tadaharu Uehara and the Deputy Ambassador and Advisor of Japan Tomonori Hasegawa. At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of deepening trade and economic relations between Georgia and Japan and the visit of Japanese business representatives to Georgia in February-March and establishing business relations with the Georgian side. The Ambassador of Japan to Georgia noted that at this stage the existing economic relations are quite scarce and it is necessary to deepen them, because Georgia has the potential to do so. They talked about Japanese investments and export products in Georgia. The meeting was held in the conference hall of the Association of Georgian Employers and was attended by representatives of various business sectors.
