Labor safety specialists have passed the certification exam

Since December 2018, the Association of Georgian Employers has been implementing an accredited training program for a labor safety specialist. At this stage, about 80 company representatives completed the 130-hour training and passed the certification exam. The exam included all issues stipulated by the order of the Minister of Labor Health and Social Protection of IDPs from the occupied territories of Georgia No. 01-25/N. After passing the testing stage, the participants will be given certificates recognized by the state. At this stage, about 200 labor safety specialists are undergoing training in the Association of Georgian Employers. It should be noted that according to the Law on Labor Safety, it is mandatory for companies included in the list of jobs with increased risk to employ a certified labor safety specialist at their workplace. From September 1, 2019, the mentioned law will apply to all business sectors.
