A training on corporate social responsibility was held in the employers' association

Jorge Illingwors, the invited expert of the Turin International Training Center of the International Labor Organization, conducted a two-day training on corporate social responsibility and responsible business behavior (CSR/RBC) for the representatives of the member companies of the Association of Georgian Employers. The training was aimed at sharing international experience on CSR/RBC issues with the business sector, which is especially valuable given that the interest in corporate social responsibility issues in the private sector is growing, but the relevant knowledge and experience are lacking. During the training, such issues as the function and role of CSR/RBC in the company were discussed; How can CSR/RBC increase the value of an intangible asset for a company; good and bad practices of companies in relation to CSR/RBC; Draft CSR/RBC strategy and communication document etc. Also, they discussed the current situation regarding CSR in Georgian companies. At the end of the training, the participants were given certificates of the International Training Center of the International Labor Organization (ITCILO). In response to the mentioned issue, the Association of Georgian Employers offers the representatives of the member companies with the support of the International Labor Organization (ILO) to train future trainers of the representatives of the member companies.
