Occupational Safety Specialist Accredited Program

A new group was opened within the framework of the accredited labor safety course in the "Georgian Employers Association". The training will last two months and includes a total of 130 hours, upon completion of which the state-accredited certificates will be awarded to the successful graduates based on the exam. The course includes both theoretical and practical training, the purpose of which is for labor safety specialists to acquire basic knowledge to protect safety norms at workplaces. Interest in an accredited occupational safety program has been growing since the provisions of the Occupational Safety Law came into effect on September 1, requiring any business operator to have an occupational safety specialist present or invited to the workplace. It should be noted that the labor safety specialist must have passed an accredited labor safety program and possess the relevant certificate. In response to new challenges, the Association of Georgian Employers offers not only a certification program to the business sector, but also consulting, auditing, authorizing services and the implementation of the international security standard (ISO 45001).
