The meeting aims to raise awareness of the new challenges in the field of labor safety for the private sector, which business operators have faced since September 1, 2019. In particular, such critically important and fundamental issues for companies, such as the requirements of the labor safety law regarding insurance, responsible parties, risk assessment criteria, monitoring process, qualification of labor safety specialist, sanctions and enforcement mechanisms, will be discussed at the meeting. "Awareness of the new requirements of the labor safety law is particularly low in the regions. Kutaisi is an economically active city, so it is necessary to organize such meetings in order to provide appropriate qualified consultation regarding the mentioned issues. In particular, at the meeting, we will talk about the requirements of the labor safety law, and they will learn about what changes should be implemented in workplaces in accordance with the requirements of the law, in order to avoid the financial sanctions and even the risks of banning activities, which are provided for by the law," - Executive Director of the Association of Georgian Employers Lasha Labadze .
