COVID-19 Recommendations for the Construction Sector

Business Association - Organized by the Employers' Association of Georgia and supported by the International Labor Organization (ILO), a remote seminar for the construction sector was held on the topic: "Labor safety management during COVID 19 - local requirements and international practices" in the construction sector. The aim of the seminar was to provide companies with complete information about existing regulations and recommendations, taking into account the field. The workshop included a practical part on protective equipment, necessary documentation and the operation of the COVID-19 prevention system. The information received at the seminar will help participating companies to avoid problems related to suspension of activities, risks of infection of employees and other parties, and monetary fines. The seminar was led by International Labor Organization (ILO) certified trainer - Davit Chijavadze. For the member companies of the Association of Georgian Employers, similar types of remote trainings are planned in the sector.
