Changes and news in the Customs Code of Georgia

A training was held in the Association of Georgian Employers about the changes and innovations in the Customs Code of Georgia. The participants received information about the news and information sources in the Customs Department. As a result, representatives of the mentioned field have increased their qualifications in customs issues, will be able to use the acquired knowledge in practice and make effective decisions. The training covered such topics as determining the amount to be taxed by VAT during the import of goods, exemption from import tax during the import of goods and related nuances. Practice was conducted by discussing theoretical and practical examples. The training was led by Goner Uridia - the chief specialist of the Tax and Customs Methodology Department of the Revenue Service; Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of "Alte" University. At the end of the training, the participants were awarded GEA certificates.
