The representatives of the member companies of the Association of Georgian Employers held a meeting with the Labor Inspection. Beka Feradze, the head of the Labor Inspection Service, and Elguja Meladze, the president of the employers' association, addressed the participants of the meeting with a welcome speech. Within the framework of the meeting, issues of labor safety and labor rights were discussed in terms of legislative requirements and inspection processes. In particular, the first deputy head of the Labor Inspection Service, Nato Natenadze, and also the deputy Maia Mikaya presented a presentation on the mandate of the Labor Inspection, main directions, results of supervision, frequently detected violations, labor migration law and other relevant issues. The meeting, which was attended by about 100 participants, took place in a question-and-answer mode. The meeting with the Labor Inspection Service was held within the framework of the information campaign organized by the Association of Georgian Employers, which aims to strengthen communication between the private and public sectors.
