Promoting International Labor Organization and European standards in the field of labor and employment in industrial relations.

The training package includes: promotion of labor and employment standards set by the International Labor Organization (hereinafter “ILO”) and the European Union, raising awareness and assistance to entrepreneurs as well as local social partners, according to the regions of Georgia.

The main purpose of the training module and its structure:

  • Facilitate the application of international labor standards, norms of Georgian labor legislation in labor relations, especially in resolving individual and collective labor disputes;
  • To promote the development of partnerships at the enterprise, sector and regional (municipal) levels;
  • Raise the level of knowledge and information of the training participants, as well as develop practical skills;
  • Develop opportunities for collective bargaining and civil litigation;
  • Controversial norms should be discussed and participants should receive recommendations on the content of best practice;

In line with the topic, to get acquainted with the norms defined by the ILO and EU conventions and directives and to determine the possibility of following them in the future.

The present module combines theoretical (approximately ¼ training time) and practical training sessions with relevant tests.

The training can be conducted both at the training center of the Georgian Employers’ Association and at the workplace of the client organization. The trainings are built on the modern interactive method of teaching and include the format of lecture-seminars, as well as discussions and practical cases.

Training format:

The duration of the training course includes two full days from 10:00 to 18:00.

Participants will be awarded Georgian Employers’ Association certificates.
