Meeting of member companies of the association with the mayor of Tbilisi

Business union within the framework of the project "Business Dialogue with the Government" organized by the Association of Georgian Employers. Tbilisi Mayor Davit Narmania met with the representatives of member companies of the association. The discussion at the meeting touched on current projects and future plans in the capital. He also informed the businessmen present at the meeting about the city's general plan, road infrastructure and investment projects. A significant part of the meeting was devoted to the discussion mode. It turned out to be especially important for entrepreneurs to discuss the following issues together with representatives of the City Hall: • What is being done by the City Hall to attract additional investment, support local entrepreneurship and create new jobs; What is expected in this direction in the future? • What is the situation in Tbilisi in terms of ecological safety, what is being done in Tbilisi in terms of waste processing and to improve the sanitary conditions. • Taxi traffic regulation issues: disorderly traffic, technical malfunction problems, parking rules, places, etc. • In terms of the attractiveness of the investment environment and the support of entrepreneurship, great importance is attached to solving the problems faced by small business representatives when launching new enterprises. Specifically, in the process of connecting to the city's infrastructural communications (electricity, water, sewage and roads). What measures does the City Hall take to help them and solve this problem? • What assistance can be provided by the Tbilisi City Hall to small entrepreneurs in order to promote the product. • Also, the vision of the City Hall, the position in relation to the development of the city and the overview of the process of development of the general plan of the city.
