On June 23, the Minister of Finance of Georgia Dimitri Kumsishvili and the officials of the Revenue Service held a meeting, which was attended by the member companies of the Association of Georgian Employers. The purpose of the meeting was to inform the business sector about the new legislation, which implies that from July 1, 2017, an entrepreneur is obliged to indicate the price in GEL when selling property and providing services in the territory of Georgia, in case of advertising or offering. Moreover, the requirement of mandatory pricing in GEL will only apply to entrepreneurial entities and this rule In case of violation, the administration will be carried out by the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance. It should be noted that the Association of Georgian Employers, within the framework of active cooperation with government structures, constantly offers its member companies to participate in similar meetings.
