The President of the Association of Georgian Employers, Elguja Meladze, delivered a welcoming speech at the international conference on the future of labor, which was organized by the International Labor Organization and trade unions. In his welcoming speech, Mr. Elguja Meladze reviewed the current state of labor relations in the business sector. Also, presented the challenges and priorities that are relevant for business in the labor sector today. Representatives of the government, parliament, international organizations and the non-governmental sector took part in the meeting, including Tamar Chugoshvili - Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Tamar Barkalaya - Deputy Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories of Georgia, Sergius Glowatskas - ILO/ACTRAV Europe and Central Asia Officer. Business Union - Employers' Association of Georgia represents the interests of the private sector before the social partners and works to establish a liberal policy for doing business in the country.
