A Chinese business delegation with more than 100 representatives will visit Georgia in July. The holding of the Georgia-China Business Forum was announced at the meeting between the business association "Georgia Employers Association" (GEA) and China International Trade Promotion Council (CCPITBJ).
The China International Trade Promotion Council is the largest and most important organization in the direction of China's foreign trade promotion. It unites about 4,000 enterprises and organizations representing various business sectors in Beijing. Global business forums and exhibitions are organized by them.

As the Chinese side noted, the visit to Georgia will be a continuation of the 3-month World Business Forum held in Astana. They wish to send the Chinese business delegation to the so-called Silk Road to develop trade relations as much as possible through business forums and exhibitions.
At the meeting held today, which was attended by the associate consul of the China International Trade Promotion Council and the representatives of the investment and trade development departments, it was agreed that the cooperation with the Georgian Employers' Association will develop in the following main directions:
• development of bilateral business ties; • promotion of environmental protection and resource-efficient production;
A memorandum of cooperation is being prepared between the Association of Georgian Employers and the China International Trade Promotion Council, which will be signed in the near future. The next meeting between the parties is scheduled for April, at which the details of the organization of the planned business forum will be discussed and the business sectors that will participate in it will be determined.
