On September 14-15, 2016, the business association GEA organized a training on the topic "Risk assessment at the workplace".
The aim of the training was to study the methods and systematic approaches of identifying the dangers in the workplace in the enterprise/organization, determining/estimating risks, reducing or eliminating them.
The program is practical and any company can implement such a system. It should be noted here that the introduction of modern standards and approaches to labor and health safety conditions allows not only guarantees of personnel safety, but also contributes to the growth of the company's income, namely: - labor productivity increases; - absences and absences decrease; - labor motivation increases; - technical technical problems decrease. damage to facilities and costs for their restoration;
The training was led by Davit Chijavadze, a certified trainer of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Safety Center.
At the end of the training, the participants were awarded GEA certificates.
Based on the topicality of the topic (the "State Program for the Inspection of Labor Conditions" was approved by the Resolution #19 of the Government of Georgia on January 18, 2016), the Association of Georgian Employers will systematically carry out various activities to help companies, with the participation of both local and foreign experts, so that employers are more or less prepared to meet new labor safety requirements.
