International Sports Marketing Conference 2016

Business association organized by "Georgian Employers' Association" and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, National Tourism Administration of Georgia and St. The first international sports marketing conference was held with the support of Tbilisi City Hall. The conference aimed to share the latest experience of sports business with people working in this industry. Also, increasing the involvement of the private sector to turn sports events into a profitable one. The following main issues were discussed at the conference - sports marketing, management and tourism; State and private sector cooperation in sports; Marketing of mega sports events. The conference was opened by Giorgi Chogovadze, the head of the Department of Tourism of Georgia, and Zurab Bocholishvili, the founder of Prime Sport Management, who spoke about the prospects of sports tourism in Georgia. The Ministry of Sports and Youth of Georgia and St. Representatives of Tbilisi City Hall. Top managers of the world's largest sports management companies (IMG, BLUEROCK) were among the speakers of the conference.
