The business union "Georgia Employers' Association" (GEA) organized a training on labor safety issues, in particular, on the topic "Fire safety and fire fighting".
The training was led by the ILO (International Labor Organization) certified trainer of the labor safety center of the association: Mr. Davit Chijavadze.
The purpose of the training was to study the methods of detecting fire hazards in enterprises for companies, as well as to study the necessary fire safety instructions and procedures that any company, regardless of its size, should have developed.
After training, participants should be able to implement a fire safety system and develop evacuation schemes.
Technical managers of enterprises/organizations and specialists responsible for fire safety attended the training.
At the end of the training, the participants were awarded GEA certificates.
The topic of the training is especially relevant after the creation of the Labor Conditions Inspection Department on March 2, 2015 based on the Resolution of the Government of Georgia #81, the purpose of which is to inspect the existing conditions of labor safety in organizations-institutions.
The business association GEA systematically offers its member and partner companies to train personnel in accordance with the regulations established by the Government of Georgia on the basis of European directives.
