On January 27-28, the Georgian Employers' Association held a corporate training for HeidelbergCement employees on labor safety issues. In particular, the topic of the training was "assessment of risks in the workplace".
The aim of the mentioned training was to study the methods and systematic approaches of identifying the dangers in the enterprise, at the workplace, defining/assessing risks, reducing them, or eliminating them. The program is practical and based on modern standards and approaches of labor and health safety conditions. Practices based on such training allow not only to guarantee the safety of the personnel, but also contribute to the growth of the company's income.
The training was led by International Labor Organization (ILO) certified trainer Davit Chijavadze.
At the end of the training, the participants were awarded GEA certificates.
It should be noted that the Association of Georgian Employers systematically offers companies both group and corporate trainings in labor safety issues, which are based on the laws, regulations and European directives of the Government of Georgia. Thus, the knowledge and experience gained at the trainings allow the companies to meet the labor inspection monitoring as well as possible.
