Training on collective bargaining

Georgian Employers' Association (GEA) and International Labor Organization (ILO) organized a three-day joint training on collective bargaining, attended by representatives of the business sector as employers and trade unions as employees.
The training was conducted by the International Labor Organization and local experts invited from Canada, who shared with the participants the international and national legal framework (regulations, normative acts, etc.) and existing practices.
The participants of the training shared their experiences and positions of the practice of collective negotiations; About its advantages and disadvantages, characteristic features and processes.
The training was loaded with role-playing games and discussions, so that the participants could reinforce the concepts and acquire the necessary skills for the effective implementation of collective negotiations and achieving results in their work. At the end of the training, the participants were given the relevant certificates.
The mentioned trainings were held within the framework of the project "Promotion of labor relations and social dialogue in Georgia", which is implemented with the support of the European Union.
It should be noted that the Georgian Employers' Association (GEA) is a party to the tripartite social dialogue from the employers' point of view and is actively involved in programs aimed at improving labor relations in Georgia.
