Training - fire and electrical safety issues

A two-day training on labor safety, namely, "Fire and electrical safety issues", was organized by the business association "Georgian Employers' Association" and the Academy of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH Academy).
Technical managers of various enterprises and organizations and specialists responsible for labor and health safety attended the training.
The training was led by International Labor Organization (ILO) certified trainer Davit Chijavadze.
The purpose of the training program was to study the methods of detecting fire and electrical hazards in the enterprise for companies, as well as to study the necessary fire and electrical safety instructions and procedures that should be developed by any company, regardless of its size. The use of such a system allows to avoid the risks and dangers that can be caused by the consequences of fire and electrical failure. The goal of implementing and training the fire and electrical safety system is to ensure the protection of the health of employees and the company's property. After the training, the participants should be able to implement the fire and electrical safety system and develop evacuation schemes.
At the end of the training, participants were awarded GEA certificates!
Retraining of staff in order to create a safe working environment in companies became especially relevant after the Ministry of Health created the Department of Inspection of Labor Conditions, the purpose of which is to inspect the existing conditions of labor safety in the workplace.
