Business sector meeting of state procurement agencies

On November 25, the Chairman of the State Procurement Agency, Levan Razmadze, met with businessmen at the Association of Georgian Employers. About 100 business companies attended the meeting. The meeting with businessmen was opened by the President of the Employers' Association, Elguja Meladze. Levan Razmadze introduced to the businessmen the reforms implemented in the State Procurement Agency this year, as well as the legislative acts, including new methods and procedures for conducting tenders. It should be noted that the agency has developed new electronic services for business. The purpose of the implemented reforms is to promote the participation of businessmen in state procurement and to establish the rules of fair play for them. The last part of the meeting was held in a question-and-answer format. The event will be held within the framework of the "Business Dialogue with the Government" cycle of meetings organized by the Association of Georgian Employers.
