The state delegation of Belarus under the leadership of the Vice-Prime Minister of Belarus, Mikhail Rus, discussed trade-economic and investment opportunities between Georgia and Belarus with the business sector at the Association of Georgian Employers.
At the meeting, it was announced that the plan of the Georgia-Belarus Business Council is being planned, the purpose of which will be to deepen business relations. At the meeting, the delegation of Belarus made reports on the following topics:
• Export potential of Belarus in the agricultural, machine-building and automotive sectors;
• Investment opportunities of Belarus in the direction of the food industry.
The meeting was held within the framework of the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Georgia, the purpose of which is to deepen economic relations between the countries and support future business ties.
The delegation from Belarus, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, was represented by the leading companies of Belarus and the Deputy Minister of Industry, Alexander Ogorotnikov. About 60 heads of companies attended the meeting from the Georgian side.
The meeting was held in the conference hall of the Association of Georgian Employers.
