A long-term training course for labor safety managers was organized by the Association of Georgian Employers, which was opened by the Executive Director of the Association of Employers, Lasha Labadze, and the Deputy Head of the Department of Labor and Employment Policy of the Ministry of Health, Paata Zhorzhliani.
The demand for the mentioned training course increased after the Georgian government created the labor inspection department based on the requirements of the European Union and tightened the regulations in this direction. The Association of Employers of Georgia takes into account the challenges faced by companies and strengthens cooperation with the private sector in the direction of labor safety.
The first module of the training was about first aid, as a result of which the participants will develop the necessary skills for first aid and will be able to provide first aid in emergency situations. 25 labor safety managers of the company attend the training and after passing the relevant test, they will be transferred to the International Training Center of the International Labor Organization. (ITC ILO) and Georgian Employers Association (GEA) certificate.
The training lasts for two months and is led by trainers and experts of international inter-professional qualifications.
