On October 13, organized by the business union "Georgia Employers' Association" (GEA), a training was held on labor safety issues, in particular, on the topic "Fire safety and fire fighting".
The training was led by Davit Chijavadze, an ILO (International Labor Organization) certified trainer of the labor safety center of the association.
The purpose of the training was for companies to study the methods of detecting fire hazards in enterprises, as well as to study the necessary fire safety instructions and procedures that any company, regardless of its size, should have developed. results. The purpose of introducing and training the fire safety system is to ensure the protection of the health of employees and the company's property.
After the training, participants should be able to implement a fire safety system and develop evacuation schemes.
Technical managers of enterprises/organizations and specialists responsible for fire safety attended the training.
At the end of the training, the participants were given GEA certificates. The topic of the training is especially relevant after the creation of the Labor Conditions Inspection Department on March 2, 2015 based on the Georgian Government Resolution #81, the purpose of which is to inspect the existing conditions of labor safety in organizations-institutions.
The business association GEA systematically offers its member and partner companies to train personnel in accordance with the regulations established by the Government of Georgia on the basis of European directives.
