Members of the Association of Georgian Employers and partner companies met with the members of the Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (SEMEC). The purpose of the meeting was to inform the business sector about the innovations and service standards introduced by the commission. The mentioned standard implies meeting the request of the person wishing to join with the service company with one contact, namely: after the person wishing to join applies to the distribution licensee "Requesting to join the distribution network of a new customer" in the form of an application approved by the commission, the licensee is obliged to provide the fulfillment of this request with the services of the full technological cycle and the applicant Participation in this process in any form is not allowed. The representatives of the Methodological Assurance Department of the Commission provided the meeting participants with information on the service standard of one-contact connection of a new user in the electric energy, natural gas and water supply sectors. Also, during the meeting, attention was focused on the monitoring mechanisms of the one-contact connection service standard. At the meeting, a discussion was held on the mentioned topics. The meeting, which was opened by the vice-president of the employers' association, Daniel Gakharia, and the member of Semek, Giorgi Fangan, was attended by the heads of various departments of the commission and about 60 representatives of the business sector. The meeting was held in the conference hall of the Association of Georgian Employers.
