"Multipliers" of dual professional education will be trained in Germany

Within the framework of the professional education and training project, which is implemented by the Association of Georgian Employers with the support of the German government, a pilot project of training of the so-called multipliers, mediators between vocational schools and enterprises, has been started. The multiplier is the link in the workplace that is responsible for introducing and organizing the dual education model in enterprises. The introduction of the professional dual education model in Georgia is slowly gaining ground, so at this stage it is important for representatives of local colleges and enterprises to gain international experience. For this purpose, 20 representatives of Georgian employers' association member companies and vocational schools went to Germany for a 2-week qualification training. The program, according to which the multipliers will be trained, aims to share experiences on the implementation of practical training in schools and workplaces and to strengthen the idea of ​​cooperative learning. Learning processes will take place and participants will share the experience of such institutions as Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Economic Education Center, Leipzig Education and Technology Center (BTZ), Rostock Education and Training Center (AFZ), Rostock Shipyard. It should be noted that the regions of Georgia are actively involved in the project, and representatives of educational institutions and enterprises of Tbilisi, Khoni and Gori are currently in Germany.
