In response to the two main challenges facing Georgian companies - access to financial resources and business consulting services, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) developed a new Trade Ready project.
Severian Ghvinepadze, Head of the Small and Medium Enterprises Financing and Development Team of the Eurobank, and Keti Sidamonidze, the Trade Ready Representative of the Eurobank in Georgia, informed the members and partner companies of the Association of Georgian Employers about the goals of the mentioned project, the possibilities of involvement in it and the benefits of the beneficiaries.
"The Association of Georgian Employers has been cooperating with the EBRD for many years, with the aim that the member companies are actively involved in the projects implemented by them. The initiative announced at the meeting will allow our member small and medium-sized enterprises involved in international trade to receive trade financing and business consulting. The Employers' Association will help the member companies to use this opportunity by joining the project," - Executive Director of the Georgian Employers' Association Lasha Labadze.
The meeting, which was attended by about 60 representatives of small and medium businesses and representatives of partner banks of the EBRD, was held in the conference hall of the Association of Georgian Employers.
