Mate Takidze, director of Spektri Public College, and Elguja Meladze, president of Business Union - Georgian Employers' Association, signed a memorandum of cooperation for the promotion and development of professional education, the labor market and the education system.
"This memorandum is full of work. Together with the Association of Georgian Employers, we are implementing the so-called "Mobile Home" innovative project, which has already been prepared and is planned to be presented in the near future. This project is aimed at popularizing professional education. School students, adults, business sector and other interested persons will be involved in it. This house is unique to the extent that students can try their hand at 10 different construction professions. Also, it should be noted that "Spectri" and the employers' association will jointly implement the adult professional training-retraining certification programs initiated by the Prime Minister. As Mr. Prime Minister mentioned, the program is tailored to the needs of business, therefore, the employers' association will be a platform for us to connect with business," - Mate Takidze.
"We have been cooperating with "Spectr" college for a long time, but this time we are moving to the most important stage of partnership, which is based on the Prime Minister's initiative and the government's conceptual approach to professional education. In the projects started together with Spektr, we also focused on regions where the level of poverty is particularly low. Together with our German partners, experts, we developed unique projects, the implementation of which requires cooperation with such organizations as "Spektri". Very soon, the society will see concrete steps and results, which are achieved as a result of the cooperation of the private sector and vocational schools and are exemplary," - Elguja Meladze.
We would like to remind you that the co-operation started between the spectrum of employers' association
