The Executive Director of the Association of Georgian Employers, Lasha Labadze, as a project partner, gave a welcome speech at the official opening of the educational project "Start and develop your business" organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO).
In order to stimulate and develop business, the project envisages conducting trainings for micro and small entrepreneurs in all regions of Georgia. The partners of the project are the "Make in Georgia" agency (the main partner), the Innovation and Technology Agency of Georgia, the Agricultural Project Management Agency, the Revenue Service, the Academy of the Ministry of Finance, and the Employers' Association.
In the first stage, the project partner and co-partner organizations have already nominated trainers. They will be retrained for two weeks. In the future, throughout Georgia, trained trainers will retrain micro and small entrepreneurs in the modules: "Develop your idea" and "Start your business".
It is important to note that the "Develop Your Business" project is related to the micro and small entrepreneurship grant component of the "Make in Georgia" agency. In particular, in the course of the grant competition, certified persons, like women entrepreneurs, disabled and internally displaced persons, within the framework of the mentioned project, will be awarded one additional bonus point, although they will not compete with persons under the listed categories.
