The Association of Employers of Georgia participated in the event held on June 15-16 - "Skills for Georgia - Georgian-German Days of Vocational Education".
The hosts of the large-scale event were the representatives of the government of Georgia and Germany. The event - "Skills for Georgia" consisted of three parts: sectoral conference Expert to Expert talks, public event and Skills4Georgia talks.
The Executive Director of the Association of Georgian Employers, Lasha Labadze, as a moderator, led the working groups in which the involvement of the private sector in professional education was discussed.
In addition, the Association of Georgian Employers provided the guests invited to the event with information about the professional education and training project carried out by the association since 2016. Also, together with the public college Spectrum, it presented the so-called professional simulation house (constructor house), which was built by young people interested in construction professions under the supervision of specialists in a specific field.
The Georgian-German days of professional education were implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall, the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Georgia.
