The Association of Georgian Employers with the German organization - KWB (KWB Koordinierungsstelle Weiterbildung und Beschäftigung e.V.) has started the implementation of the joint project "From Ukraine to Georgia, women - for women".
The project aims at integration and reintegration of internally displaced women into the labor market.
Within the framework of the project, the first activity was held at the employers' association on September 8-9, which included the training of mentors, which was led by the invited trainer/mentor Alexey Medvedev from Germany.
The target groups of the project will be strengthened in the so-called With a mentoring approach. In particular, by strengthening their qualifications and improving their financial literacy as budding entrepreneurs.
The training entitled "Theoretical and Practical Concept of Mentoring" covered the following topics:
The meaning, role, goals, motivation, possibilities and limits of mentoring; how mentoring is organized; successful communication and possible problems; Stages of mutual understanding and possible problems, etc.
The training included a review of best practice examples, theory, practice and a discussion section.
Post-project activities include trainings for beneficiary women, mentoring, development and presentation of business plans, a competition to identify the best business plans and awarding them, seminars, conference, etc.
In order to complete the project, the networking of beneficiaries and mentors/women entrepreneurs will be improved, the economic competitiveness of women will increase, their role in the economic activities of the region and the country, etc.
The project will be implemented in three regions of Georgia - Tbilisi, Imereti and Adjara.
