Giorgi Chichinadze, Acting Director of the Pension Agency, and Goga Melikidze, Senior Investment Officer, held an information meeting with the representatives of the member companies organized by the Association of Georgian Employers. The purpose of the meeting was to get acquainted with the working processes of the pension agency. Giorgi Chichinadze, the Acting Director of the Pension Agency, introduced the private sector with information about legislative changes, news planned by the Pension Agency, the latest statistics and the role of business in the current processes. Within the framework of the meeting, Senior Investment Officer Goga Melikidze made a presentation on the investment mandate, requirements, activities, investments made and future plans in this direction. Also, the participants received information about the ISO 27001 international standard implemented by the Pension Agency, which includes information security management mechanisms, and also talked about ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of existing information. It was noted that the ongoing processes in the Pension Agency are conducted in accordance with the universally recognized international standard. At the end of the meeting, the guests had the opportunity to talk to the representatives of the agency in a question-and-answer mode. The meeting with the Pension Agency was held within the cycle of informational meetings organized by the Association of Georgian Employers, which aims to strengthen communication between the private and public sectors.
