Working meeting within the framework of professional education and teaching project

An important meeting was held in the framework of the professional education and training project in the Association of Georgian Employers, which was attended by Thomas Scholl, economic attaché of the German Federal Embassy, Oliver Regner, director of the German Economic Union (DWV), GIZ's expert on private sector development, technical vocational education and training in the South Caucasus, Joanis Fleischle, long-term expert of the project Dirk Roeneke, vice-president of the Association of Georgian Employers Misha Kordzakhia and project manager in Georgia Elene Makharadze.
At the meeting, the project management presented the goals, content, progress and results of the project to the representatives of the German Embassy, GIZ and the German Economic Union. Also, they discussed about their involvement in future project development and perspective.
It should be noted that the vocational education and training partnership project in the South Caucasus countries is a German government-supported approach to strengthen the interest of employers' unions in the South Caucasus countries in the vocational education system. The conceptual approaches of the project have been developed by the German side based on years of observation and analysis of the education system and business entities in Georgia.
The three-year project is managed by the Sakarvelo Employers' Association in Georgia.
