Presenting the current results of the professional education and training project

On September 13, the presentation of the current results of the vocational education and training project to the interested parties was held in the conference hall of the Association of Georgian Employers. The planned meeting was important to the extent that all interested parties were represented and their positions on problematic issues in the labor market were recorded. The meeting was attended by representatives of local and international organizations, German experts of the project, the business sector, representatives of educational institutions and the Ministry of Education and Science, etc. The implementation of the mentioned project in Georgia was started by the "Georgian Employers' Association" in 2016 with the support of the German government and aims to improve human resources in the labor market. To strengthen and create the best examples of cooperation between the business sector, educational institutions, employees/job seekers. The planned meeting aimed to strengthen further cooperation in vocational education and training by the parties to discuss all the directions and activities that are important in this regard. For this purpose, the participants discussed the following issues at the meeting: • Georgian-German experience in dual education system; Experience within the framework of the joint project; • Best practice examples within the framework of the vocational education and training project in Georgia; • Presentation of the practical module of the project - "Professional House"; • Possibilities of multiplying the best practice examples of the project. The workshop was packed with discussions to provide feedback and assessments to all stakeholders.
