Another meeting of the Labor Relations Committee of the Georgian Employers' Association was held.
During the meeting of the committee, such issues as:
development of mechanisms for encouraging collective agreements;
development of alternative mechanisms for collective labor dispute resolution;
development/strengthening of mediation of labor disputes;
Revision of salary policy (minimum salary and living wage);
Conventions: Convention N190 of the International Labor Organization "Regarding the Elimination of Violence and Harassment in the Field of Labor"; Ratification of Convention N102 "Regarding Minimum Norms of Social Security"; Convention No. 131 "Regarding the Establishment of the Minimum Wage";
Convention No. 189 "Regarding Family Employees".
The meeting was chaired by Nikoloz Abutidze, head of the legal department of the Association of Georgian Employers.
The Labor Relations Committee of the Association of Georgian Employers is composed of lawyers and HR professionals from member companies.
The Georgian Employers' Association will present the positions discussed at the committee to the social partners within the tripartite commission.
